Skipper Rohit Sharma on Wednesday acknowledged the fact that Team India struggled in a below-par chase of 111 despite defeating United States by seven wickets in a T20 World Cup Group A game in New York. With their third win in a row, India qualified for the Super Eight stage riding on a fighting fifty by Suryakumar Yadav and Arshdeep Singh's four-wicket haul.

As ties with Pak worsen, Afghan Taliban looks at other regional powers

The Afghan Taliban has ramped up efforts to establish various channels of communication with regional and neighboring countries as its relations with Pakistan continue to decline and become more hostile following the US withdrawal from Afghanistan. Besides attending the World Economic Forum in St Petersburg, Russia, Taliban leaders have reached out to Iran, China, Russia, and the UAE. Countries in West Asia and other regions have also initiated contact with them.
