7 killed in rain-related accidents in Jammu & Kashmir
Seven people lost their lives in two weather-related accidents in J&K on Sunday as heavy rain lashed the region, bringing temperatures down to negative in the upper reaches. According to officials, a woman and her three minor daughters died when the roof of their house collapsed in Reasi district of Jammu division. Two others were injured and rushed to hospital for treatment.

Cooperatives can empower the marginalised, says Amit Shah
Union home and cooperation minister Amit Shah on Saturday inaugurated an umbrella organisation - National Urban Cooperativem Finance and Development Corporation (NUCFDC) - for urban cooperative banks and pitched for having such banks in every city across India in a time-bound manner. Govt clears 3 semiconductor manufacturing projects worth Rs 1.3 lakh crore
Government on Thursday cleared proposals for three semiconductor manufacturing units worth Rs 1.3 lakh crore, including the country's first fab manufacturing plant by Tata Group and Taiwanese Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp (PSMC) in Gujarat.
