The Economic Survey, tabled in Parliament by finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday, projected GDP (gross domestic product) growth at 7 per cent for the financial year (FY) 2019-20. Investment is rate picking up in FY2020 on higher credit growth and improved demand, it stated.
