ADB provides $1.5bn to India to deal with Covid-19

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) on Tuesday said it has provided $1.5 billion to India to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic. The institution had announced a package of $20 billion in April 2020 to provide financial support to 26 countries to help fight the pandemic, it said in a release.

Govt allows biz to verify GST returns through EVC

The government has allowed businesses to verify through electronic verification code monthly GST returns filed till May 31. Currently, businesses are required to digitally sign the GSTR-3B form while filing the monthly return and paying taxes.
