Eight core industries' output contracts 2.6% in November

The output of eight core industries dropped for the ninth consecutive month in November, government data released on Thursday showed. The production of eight core sectors contracted by 2.6 per cent in November as against a growth of 0.7 per cent recorded in the same period last year.
