Retail inflation eases to 4.06% in January; factory output grows 1% in December

Retail inflation based on consumer price index (CPI) eased to 4.06 per cent in January, falling within the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI's) target of 2-6% for the second consecutive month, government data showed on Friday.
