'One new billionaire added every 17 hrs amid pandemic'

The number of people in the billionaires' club multiplied at at a very high rate amid the Covid-19 pandemic, according to Forbes world's billionaires list 2021. With a record number of 493 new entrants in the list, the world on an average gained one new billionaire every 17 hour. The previous record for most new billionaires in a year was in year 2015 with 290 additions.
