With an eye on the upcoming polls in UP, BJP on Wednesday fielded two of its MPs from the state to initiate the debate in Lok Sabha on the Motion of Thanks to the President's Address while in Rajya Sabha, opposition parties took on the government on a range of issues, including unemployment and inflation, after BJP member Geeta said the Modi government had got a repeat mandate in 2019 based on its performance in the preceding five years.
